Virtual Art Academy is an online course that is equivalent to a three year degree course. You will see from the description of each section that it is very comprehensive. I have just started the course and find that the information I have read so far is every bit as comprehensive as the descriptions claim. If you want to improve your painting and want a course that is affordable (US$400) you should give this serious consideration. Richard Robinson has a set of painting lessons as video demonstrations. Also information on the business side of being an artist. They are very good and well worth buying. South African Artist Elga Rabe has a nice tutorial on the home page.
